Stepping forward with our new manufacturing plant at Chakan

Our foray into manufacturing with our German partners, Robert Karst GmbH & Co. KG

"Progress lies not in enhancing what is, but in advancing toward what will be." – Kahlil Gibran

Creativity and progress – in life and in business – lies in taking that daring leap into the unknown, not once but again and again. All successful businesses that have managed to sustain over time have passed through successive phases – each requiring them to take a quantum leap from one orbit into the next.

The present is always safe and comfortable, and the future often feels unknown and risky. Yet the journey towards progress cannot be paused.

For us at Enerdyne, building our new plant at Chakan is the next exciting destination on this journey.

A step towards the connected future

India’s automotive industry is undergoing a seismic transformation. With the rise of connected cars, demand for advanced electrical and electronic components has never been higher. The need for data transfer and safety-critical communication inside vehicles is fuelling the growth of the automotive industry and propelling the automotive wire harness industry towards data connectivity solutions.

We are honoured and delighted to partner with Robert Karst GmbH & Co. KG (ROKA),Germany. With decades of expertise in FAKRA and RF connector technology and a global reputation for precision engineering, ROKA is the ideal partner to bring world-class data connector capability into India. We were honoured to havetheir CEO, Mr. Marcel Foerster, as the Guest of Honour on this momentous day. Together, we are poised to deliver cutting-edge connector systems that will power the next generation of mobility.

A day of tradition and commitment

The inauguration ceremony at Chakan represented much more than just the unveiling of a new facility. To us, it was a celebration of tradition, community, and partnership.

The day included an auspicious pooja and havan, invoking blessings for prosperity, safety, and success. A tree plantation ceremony symbolised our long-term commitment to sustainability. Mr. Foerster enthusiastically joined us in both the ceremony and plantation.

To mark the occasion, we also distributed food amongst members of the local community – a gesture of gratitude and inclusiveness as we begin this new chapter. The event concluded with a walkthrough of the facility, showcasing the modern infrastructure that will soon produce state-of-the-art FAKRA connector assemblies.

Looking ahead

At Enerdyne, we believe that every leap forward comes with both risk and responsibility. The Chakan plant represents not just a new milestone, but a renewed commitment to supporting India’s automotive industry as it transitions towards connected, sustainable mobility.

In the words of the poet Kahlil Gibran, progress lies not in enhancing what is, but in advancing toward what will be.  With this new beginning, we at Enerdyne are proudly advancing towards what will be.
